Edwin & Sharon

Sharon’s grandma came by to Sharon’s place in the wee hours of the morning, just to witness the moment where Sharon was veiled by her parents. The effort, even though she had difficulty getting around. That definitely left a lasting impression on me. I wondered if she, too, remembered veiling her daughter back in the day.
I also really enjoyed the batik motifs that the family put on for family portraits!
During the gatecrash, Edwin showed his observant side, successfully identifying all of Sharon’s body parts (her eyes, nose and lips – don’t think otherwise!) and endured a spicy breakfast, followed by wriggling in green hula skirts – Edwin also promised to do all the house chores, but we’ll have to do a follow-up on that soon, won’t we? 😀
The celebrations continued at Grand Copthorne Waterfront, with Merrybees entertaining guests (me included) with familiar tunes, throughout the night.
